To Copy a Unit

  1. In the Units view, double-click the unit that you want to copy to open it in the Unit Assistant window.
  2. From the File menu, choose Save As to open the Save As dialog box.
  3. In the ID box, enter a unique identifier for the new unit.
  4. To change other properties, enter the additional information for the new unit.
  5. To change custom attributes, click the Custom button.

    Note: The Custom button appears dimmed if no custom attributes have been defined for this type of unit.

  6. Click OK to save the new unit and close the dialog box.
  7. To modify the unit's components, double-click the new unit in the Units view to open it in the Unit Assistant window.
